Local R7-11 HomeWelcome to the International Association of EMTs & Paramedics (IAEP) Local R7-11 Web Site. The International Association of EMTs & Paramedics Local R7-11, organized in 1998, represents the employees of Delaware County Emergency Medical Services. The IAEP, formed in the early 1990's, is a division of NAGE, the National Association of Government Employees, which was established in 1961. Delaware County EMS employs 98 full time union employees, 25 part time employees, and 7 management personnel. They staff ten stations, in crews of three. The employees work shifts of 24 hours on duty, 48 hours off. The service provides emergency medical care to the residents of Delaware County Ohio, which is comprised of 18 townships, covering 443 square miles, with an population of 156,700 (2006 census).
