About the IAEP

The International Association of EMTs and Paramedics (IAEP) is a division of the National Association of Government Employees (NAGE).

NAGE was created in 1961 at a convention of Federal Employees Veterans Association in Dedham Massachusetts.

In 1982, NAGE affiliated with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

In 1991, the IAEP was formed by NAGE to represent employees in the Emergency Medical Services. Members of the IAEP serve the public throughout the United States.
