About Local R7-11

IAEP Local R7-11 was organized in 1998 to serve the employees of Delaware County EMS.

The members of IAEP Local R7-11 serve the residents of Delaware County Ohio. Working for Delaware County Emergency Medical Services, they provide emergency medical care to the sick and injured 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Delaware County EMS employs ninety-four full time union employees, fifteen part time employees, eight management, and two support/administrative personnel. There are ten stations, staffed in crews of three, with one Lieutenant, and two Paramedics. The employees work shifts of 24 hours on duty, 48 hours off. System wide there is an average of 6000 emergency runs per year.
